My latest newsletter should have hit emailboxes during the week. As well as information on the latest Special Offers from Stampin’ Up!, details of the new Papercrafting Classes I’ve planned were included too. These Classes are now on a Wednesday evening 19:00-22:00 at Westbury Arts Centre. They are the most fun way of getting classy!
This is the final project from the recent In Color Introduction Class. It’s a stamp-free card with a combination of all of the In Color 2017-19 colours and the fabulous new Happy Birthday Thinlit. We firstly cut the sentiment from a piece of Very Vanilla 10cm wide and put the ‘Happy Birthday’ to one side.
This post is a little different to usual as today marks two years since I began my new adventures after being made redundant. Although I’d been running my own craft business in my spare time since 2000, it was 2 years ago when it became a new adventure for me as I decided to make
Happy Monday! Last week’s Card & Cuppa project mixes old and new. The Stamp Set Watercolor Wings meets In Color 2017-2019. I apologise for the lack of ‘u’ in ‘color’, Stampin’ Up! is a US company so it’s US spelling! On a fortnightly basis, we have a creative challenge over on our team Facebook page
A big thank you to everyone who has placed an order with me over the past few weeks. Here is the pretty notecard I sent to say thank you. I decided to head back to one of my favourite designs, monochrome using Whisper White and Sweet Sugarplum. This time I’ve mixed it with a brand
Today I’m sharing another card we made at the In Color Introduction class. This one is for Berry Burst and uses the Eastern Palace Suite. Again, I designed using a colour combination suggested by Stampin’ Up! This uses Berry Burst, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie to create a bright look. Firstly, we stamped
As Wimbledon started last week, it seemed appropriate to create a Wimbledon inspired project for Card & Cuppa. As the nod to Wimbledon, this card uses greens, purple and a flash of yellow. Thin Daffodil Delight Washi Tape from Pack 2 creates the thin yellow tramlines. Next, we added the leaves using various green shades
As it was the Birthday of one of my regular class attendees a few weeks ago, I had to make her a card. Here is the Hardwood meets Swirly Bird Birthday card I made. This lovely lady is a fan of orange and I know she is a keen gardener too. With that in mind,
We had fun at last week’s Card & Cuppa session making this highly appropriate card. It uses the brand new Coffee Cafe Stamp Set from the Annual Catalogue. Aren’t the coffee cups and lids cute? The coffee bean background is first stamped in Soft Suede onto Crumb Cake cardstock. We then stamped the coffee cups
