Happy Mail for Mini Catalogue July-December 2022

With the arrival of the new Mini Catalogue for July-December and the second SAB of the year, it was time for some more happy mail.

I send happy mail to those who request a mail copy of the catalogues. The happy mail is usually a card or bookmark made using new product.

My colour combination is this notecard is Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie.

I have used the new Soft Seedlings Stamp Set for both the image and sentiment.

The leaf image is inked up using Sponge Daubers to create the variegated look. As this is a Distinktive Stamp Set, the detail is fabulous.

A length of the the Old Olive Ribbon from the Twill Ribbon Combo Pack sits across the project.

The sentiment is then cut out using the Double Oval Punch and sits over the ribbon using Dimensionals.

Mini Catalogue 2020 Happy Mail

When there is a new Stampin’ Up! Catalogue, I send out ‘Happy Mail’. Here is part of my Mini Catalogue 2020 Happy Mail package.

There were a few excited recipients, plus a few not quite so excited husbands!

I’ve once again used the fabulous new Beautiful Autumn Bundle. The inspiration for this project is Page 73 of the new Mini Catalogue. This Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set and Autumn Punch Pack Bundle work beautifully together.

As they are part of the Gilded Autumn Suite, there are other products that also co-ordinate. Don’t forget that Suites and Bundles are discounted so offer even greater value.

My colour combination is Mint Macaron, Crumb Cake and Pumpkin Pie, onto Very Vanilla Notecards. I love using Notecards when I’m making batches, they are so quick and easy to use.

The three punches in the Punch Pack offer so many possibilities. You can stamp the outline, stamp the inside too and then punch, or just punch the shape.

For this project, the outline is stamped tone-on-tone and then punched out. The sentiment from the Stamp Set is layered on top of the co-ordinating Ribbon Combo Pack from the Gilded Autumn Suite.

Sending Dandelion Wishes

What better way to let someone know you are thinking of them than sending a handmade card. Over the past few weeks I’ve been sending dandelion wishes in the form of these little notes.

These monochrome Notecards in a range of colours were fun to make, but even nicer to send.

I made them using Notecards in Very Vanilla (above) and Whisper White (below). As these come in packs of 20, pre-scored and with matching envelopes, they are great for mass production.

The accent colours were Gorgeous Grape, Rich Razzleberry, Pacific Point, Rococo Rose and Melon Mambo. My Stamparatus came in handy for stamping the dandelions, as I could line them up in the same place each time.

The sentiment from the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set, cut using the Classic Label punch, with a layered piece behind, just finished off each card. Seriously, if you haven’t got this punch in your collection, you NEED it. It’s my go-to punch and useful for so many different projects.

I made sure that these cards could be sent on to someone else too as I wrote on a separate slip inside. It’s important to keep sharing nice things, and this was a perfect way to do just that.

Saying Thank You with In Color 2019-2021

Today I’m sharing some cards I made with In Color 2019-2021 products.

I reached for Notecards and took my co-ordinating colour inspiration from the In Color Ribbon. Crumb Cake works beautifully with all of the In Color 2019-21 colours.

As I was using the same design for all of the daisies, I stamped them using Versamark so I didn’t have to keep changing ink pads. I just had to set the aside for a bit to allow them to dry properly.

A simple leaf background and layered stamped daisies, both from the Daisy Lane Bundle, made this project a breeze.

With a sentiment from the Waterfront Stamp Set cut out using the Classic Label Punch and a strip of In Color Ribbon, the project was quickly complete.

The finishing touch was some Wink of Stella in the centre of the daisies to give a bit of sparkle.

Happy Mail using Snow Front

Each time a new Catalogue is launched, I send happy mail to eager Stampin’ Up! fans. I made this year’s Autumn/Winter Catalogue ‘happy mail’ using Snow Front.

This involved stamping some of the images from the Snow Front Stamp Set into a scene. I’ve used Pretty Peacock, Garden Green and Highland Heather.

As you can see, it’s not just a set for Christmas. It also works beautifully with the Waterfront Stamp Set from the Annual Catalogue, as I’ve done here.

Waterfront has been used for the background stamping onto the Whisper White Notecards I used.

The scene, and a layer are punched out using circle punches and added to the notecard.

Notecards are a great way to make lots of cards really quickly. They are pre-cut, pre-scored, come with envelopes, are in packs of 20 and available in both Whisper White and Very Vanilla.

It’s a really quick and simple card to make, but very effective.

Gratitude with Gingham Gala

As this fabulous 6×6 DSP is on the Retiring List, today I’m showing you how I showed gratitude with Gingham Gala.

The Gingham Gala Suite from the Spring/Summer Catalogue has a Stamp Set and Punch Bundle, DSP, Cardstock, Ribbon and embellishments.

I needed to make a batch of ‘thank you’ cards, so took my colour inspiration from the Gingham Gala DSP.

As you know, I’m a fan of monochrome, especially on notecards, so I kept everything Whisper White along with the chosen colour.

Each notecard has a piece of diagonally cut DSP layered onto a co-ordinating piece of cardstock.

The butterfly is then stamped, punched and attached to the layered circles.

Gallery Grunge & Artisan Textures

I’ve once again returned from a fabulous fortnight in sunny Cyprus. The staff at the hotel we stay at are fabulous, so I made these Gallery Grunge & Artisan Textures thank you cards to hand out.
