At last week’s Card & Cuppa class, I continued my run through of the new In Colors by introducing Hydrangea Hue.

This is not quite a blue, but also not quite a purple, so it will be a great colour to use with both.
For this project, I used it alongside two other In Colors, Secret Sea and Cloud Cover, plus Basic White.
The Wild Bunch Stamp Set, June’s Product of the Month provides the images.

First, the checked image was stamped multiple times across the background., with the sentiment added to the corner.
Next the Rounded Rectangle Punch was used to cut out the shape in two colours.
Using Secret Sea, the cute snail was stamped onto the Basic White Shape.
This was then coloured in using Stampin’ Blends.
The Secret Sea Shape was cut in half and glued behind to create a layer.
Dimensionals were then used to raise the whole snail piece up.
Finally, some Pearls were added for a touch of subtle bling.

The picture below shows a comparison of the new Hydrangea Hue In Color against current Stampin’ Up! Colours.
