Saying Hello – In Color Collection 2018-2020

Each year, Stampin’ Up! introduces us to 5 new colours that stay for just 2 years. Say hello to the In Color Collection for 2018-2020.

This year we have Blueberry Bushel, Call Me Clover, Grapefruit Grove, Lovely Lipstick and Pineapple Punch. These colours are bright, vibrant and very much on trend.

Not only are these new In Color Collection colours available in Inkpads, Cardstock and Stampin’ Write Markers, there’s DSP, ribbon and embellishments too. Check out the BRAND NEW Catalogue when it goes live on 1st June for more details.

I decided to make a project (similar to THIS one) using the fabulous Love What You Do Stamp Set. It’s the perfect Birthday Card to have on hand as it’s suitable for anyone. I like that in these colours it reminds me of a bowl of sweets.

Can you also see the multi-coloured background layer and the fabulous co-ordinating ribbon?

The inkpads, in the new style, and the Stamp Set are available to order during May as part of the Early Release bundles.

Last Week’s Card & Cuppa – Old meets New

Last week was the first Card & Cuppa since my return from holiday and it was all about old meets new.

The new was the fabulous new Love What You Do Stamp Set from the Share What You Love Suite. This is one of the items available as part of the Early Release Bundles this month.

Old was the colours of Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive.

Another piece of new was the new style inkpad in Old Olive, another item in one of the bundles.

This design is all about showing off the beautiful images in the stamp set by stamping a pretty background piece. We then highlight the larger stem of flowers by layering onto circles.

There are pearls and a touch of Wink of Stella for the finishing touch.

Don’t forget to take advantage of the bundles this month.

A fond farewell

Sharing What I Love

Yesterday I shared a BRAND NEW Suite from the forthcoming Annual Catalogue with you.

Today I’m sharing what I love with a project made using products from the suite.

This card is for a friend and fellow Stampin’ Up! fan, so I couldn’t resist sending her a project filled with new goodies.

The items are paired with some old favourites such as the Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp Set, Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry inks and Rhinestones.

I’m waiting to see if my friend manages to spot all of the new items. How many can you find?

Well, here is the answer.

For this project we have the fabulous Love What You Do Stamp Set that has images of flowers, leaves and backgrounds along with sentiments. It’s sure to become one of those go to sets.

Plus, there is a BRAND NEW Colour from the 2018-2020 In Color Collection called Grapefruit Grove. I’ve used both the ink and cardstock here.

Finally, I’ve also included a sneak peek of a new ribbon too. Can you see those lovely Polka Dots, they are really beautiful and textured on tulle. This isn’t in the bundles, but is coming your way in June.

The Bundles are only available during May 2018 so make sure you don’t miss out. Plus, don’t forget that the retiring list is only around until the end of the month (while stocks last). Why not combine the two and have the best of old and new.
