Songbird Builder Punch Archives

My first Christmas Card Club project for 2022 went live on 25th June and this is the card.

Each month, between June and November, I am designing a Christmas Card.

Every person who signs up for that month receives all the cardstock, envelopes and embellishments to make 2 of the design.

They are then given a link to a video that demonstrates how to create the projects at home in their own time.

I had made the robins ages ago when I got my hands on the new Songbird Builder Punch from the Annual Catalogue. These are Soft Suede, Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight, with eyes drawn with a Stampin’ Write Marker.

However, I was having trouble deciding on a background for them. Then, the July-December Mini Catalogue provided the perfect solution with the fabulous Aspen Trees Dies.

A Crumb Cake basecard and embossed cut out, with a Very Vanilla piece between gives the robins somewhere to perch.

Finally, some Champagne Rhinestones are dotted around to look like stars on a late winter afternoon.

The final In Color from the new Annual Catalogue is Tahitian Tide.

This colour is another of my favourites.

I have again used the same design as I did for the Orchid Oasis, Parakeet Party, Starry Sky and Sweet Sorbet projects.

Using the 6×6 DSP, this creates a diagonal backround, with a length of In Color Metallic Woven Ribbon covering the join.

Sweet Songbirds, a new Stamp Set and Punch Bundle from the Annual Catalogue provides the cute bird. This sits on a cloud cut out using the Cloud Punch.

It reminds me of a certain social media network!
