Polished Pink for an 18th Birthday

A young lady reached adulthood last week, so I created this Birthday Card for her.

My colour combination is Polished Pink, Basic Black and Basic White.

The background uses the Biggest Wish Stamp Set with the words randomly stamped.

These are then joined by several stars, cut using the Stitched Stars Dies.

An ’18’ cut from the Playful Alphabet Dies is then given a coat of Wink of Stella before being stuck to the central star.

Both of these sets of Dies are on the Last Chance list and stock is only available until 2nd May, while stocks last.

Coordinating In Color Ribbon is looped and the central star sits on top using Dimensionals.

Finally, some In Color Jewels add some coordinating sparkle.

Last Week’s Card & (Your) Cuppa – Stitched Stars Dies

Last week’s Card & (Your) Cuppa online class was the final class for 2021. As with the previous week, it was a Christmas card.

Using a colour combination of Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla and Garden Green, the project has a rustic feel.

Each of the smaller stars, cut using the Stitched Stars Dies, are glued into place around where the large star will sit.

On the side of edges of the large star sit holly leaves, cut out using the Holly Border Punch. This is on the Last Chance list, so grab it while stocks last.

Each leaf is given a coating of Wink of Stella to make them sparkle.

The berries are from Wonderful Gems, also on the Last Chance list.

Using a length of coordinating twine from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack, I have made a bunny ears bow and attached that using a Glue Dot. Why not take a look at my video on tying bows.

The large star is then attached using Dimensionals. I have cut them down to fit behind the star.

Countdown to Christmas 2021 #12

The 12th and final project in my  Countdown to Christmas 2021 series is this fabulous shaker card.

It is the final project from my Special Christmas Cards online Class. Last year, I designed a shaker card that was a hit, so I chose to make another one.

This year’s uses the fabulous Stitched Stars Dies.

My colour combination is Rich Razzleberry, Very Vanilla and Gold.

The cut out has a piece of Window Sheet attached to hold the shaker pieces. Foam Adhesive Strips are stuck to the back.

It is then filled with Sequins for Everything, plus a star cut from Gold Foil Sheets.

When the shaker piece is assembled and secure, the extra Gold stars were added.

The project is finished with some coordinating Gold Metallic Pearls.
