Last week’s Card & Cuppa – Stitched With Cheer (part 2)

It’s hard to believe that this week is the final week of classes of the year.

Apologies for the delay in posting this. Some of you may be aware that one of my hobbies is working backstage for local theatre companies. Well, this year, I was due to be assisting with a local Panto for a few shows, this has subsequently turned into assisting with almost all of the shows due to a gap needing filling so my time has been somewhat limited!

Last week’s Card & Cuppa class saw the attendees making the second project from the Stitched With Cheer Project kit, the fabulous layered trees.

Stitched with Cheer Project Kit Stampin' Up!

The way that this kit combines stitching and stamping is fabulous and they are really quick and easy to assemble as everything is included, apart from the stamp set, ink and adhesives.

Don’t forget that this kit of 18 cards (6 each of 3 designs) is currently on Special Offer for just £13.05 in the Year End Closeout Sale.

Last week’s Card & Cuppa – Stitched With Cheer Project Kit

As last week started out countdown to three weeks of classes left for the year, I decided to do something different with Card & Cuppa.

For these three weeks we are making projects using the Stitched With Cheer Project Kit.

Here is the first card:

Stitched with Cheer Project Kit Stampin' Up!

It combines both stamping and stitching and contains everything you need to complete the cards (6 each of 3 different designs), including needles and a needle threader.

The only extra things you need to provide are the Stamp Set, Inks and adhesives. As the Stamp Set was the set we used at Christmas Card Boot Camp, it seemed sensible to show off this fabulous kit.

The full colour instructions are really clear and easy to follow and it doesn’t take long to make up all of the cards.

There are even co-ordinating envelope liners for each one too to give that professional finish.

We will be making another card from this kit at this week’s Card & Cuppa sessions. Don’t forget to book your place here.

Crafty Christmas Weekend Workouts – Week 5 Day 2

Today’s Crafty Christmas Weekend Workout is about another great Christmas kit from the Autumn/Winter Catalogue.

It’s a Christmas Card Kit containing all the items to make 18 beautiful handstitched cards (6 each of 3 designs).

The kit contains all of the theads you need including card bases, die cut shapes, embellishments, envelopes, envelope liners, needles, needle threader and full instructions. You’ll need the Stitched With Cheer Stamp Set (the set we used at Christmas Card Boot Camp), inkpads and adhesives to complete the kit.

In just a few hours you can make 18 professional looking stitched cards. I don’t have a picture to show you today as I haven’t managed to take one of my finished cards yet. So, here is a picture of the kit contents and finished projects from the catalogue.

There is also a handy video from Stampin’ Up! for this kit which gives you some useful tips on creating the cards.

As with yesterday’s kit, the kit and stamp set will be in the Stampin’ Up! flash sale 21-28th November, along with lots of other fabulous goodies.  Make sure you pop back tomorrow for more information.
