This is the final project from my recent Fabulous Florals Papercrafting Class.
Once again, I’ve used a previous project for my inspiration, this time creating small blooms in sepia tones.
I really like projects that are various shades of the same colour, with this one using shades of brown.
Crumb Cake and Soft Suede, plus some Linen Thread provide my brown hues. Accents are in Very Vanilla and Gold.
Linen Thread creates a frame for the rest of project and adds a touch of texture too.
A variety of punches, Vases Builder, Sprig and of course Small Bloom create the different shapes. Some of the leaves and all of the flowers are in Crumb Cake for a tone-on-tone look. The other leaves are in Soft Suede.
Cutting the Sprig Punch shape in half gives me two thin stems to start my layering.
Then the leaves are stuck down, followed by the flowers.
A sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthdays Stamp Set is offset to one side using Mini Dimensionals.
Finally, Gold Metallic Pearls highlight the centre of some of the flowers, with the rest creating additional interest across the project.
Here are all 6 projects. Do you have a favourite?
If you’ve liked these projects, why not join me at one of my remaining ZOOM Classes for 2020. Full details are available at my Class Timetable.
