Last Week’s Card & (Your) Cuppa – Autumnal Gorgeous Leaves

It was my first week back at Card & (Your) Cuppa after my two week holiday.

I had been asked for something autumnal, preferrably leaves, so this is the project I designed.

I’ve taken my inspiration from Page 71 of the Annual Catalogue.

The colours are Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla, with autumnal colours Shaded Spruce, Cherry Cobbler and Pumpkin Pie.

Using the Bark 3D Embossing Folder it creates the background.

Leaves are die-cut from the Intricate Leaves Dies in the various shades and stuck to the squares. Any overhang is then cut away.

A sentiment from the Welcoming Woods Stamp Set provides the content for the fourth square.

Using the Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine from the Essentials Pack, this is wrapped across the embossed piece in three places.

Finally, each of the squares is raised up on Dimensionals.

SSOTM with Gorgeous Leaves – Project 4

This is the final project the attendees made at my recent SSOTM Gorgeous Leaves Class.

My inspiration for this is taken from Page 47 of the current Mini Catalogue.

As with the other projects from the Class, the colour combination is Evening Evergreen, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Bumblebee.

These colours are taken from the Matte Decorative Dots that were included in the Class Kits.

This class was also my annual Mostly Men Class, so all of the projects have a more masculine feel.

After stamping the splat images to create a swoosh across the page, falling leaves are then stamped for an autumnal touch.

Next the three large leaves atre stamped and cut out using the Gorgeous Leaves Stamp Set and Intricate Dies Bundle.

The leaves are tied together at the top using a length of Linen Thread, again from the Class Kits.

These are then stuck to the project using Dimensionals to raise them up.

A sentiment from the Welcoming Woods Stamp Set is then added.

Finally, the tiny Matte Decorative Dots complete the project.

A Welcome to Welcoming Woods

Today I’m sharing a project made using the Welcoming Woods Stamp Set from the new July-December Mini Catalogue.

It’s a great set for all seasons. I’ve chosen a more autumnal colour combination for mine.

All of the stamping is in Soft Suede. I’ve then used Blending Brushes to create a sky using Soft Suede, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry and Misty Moonlight.

You could use summery colours, or blue tones for a more festive feel.

The background piece is embossed using the Bark 3D Embossing Folder before the panel is cut down and attached using Dimensionals.

Finally, a sentiment from the Stamp Set is added to the bottom corner.
