Wildflower Path Sympathy Card

Today’s project is this very simple Thinking of You card.

When I need to create sympathy cards, I tend to stick to a similiar design, just changing the orientation and colours as required.

For this version, I’ve used Flirty Flamingo, Soft Sea Foam and Very Vanilla.

The Wildflower Path Stamp Set is my current go to for the images.

For the sentiment, I’ve used the Framed Occasions Stamp Set.

Of course, this design isn’t just for this type of card, it can be used for lots of other occasions too. Adding ribbons and embellishments can also add to the design.

This pretty Thank you card uses the fabulous Wildflower Path Stamp Set from the Jan-Jun Mini Catalogue.

It might be a Stamp Set that you pass by, but I would encourage you to take a second look – it’s on page 21. It’s also only £21 for 16 photopolymer stamps.

I have used Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry and Evening Evergreen for my colour combination, along with Basic White.

The project uses the leaves and flowers images, and to create the depth in the flowers, the larger images are stamped off and the smaller image uses first generation stamping.

I love how quickly the scene comes together. Great for batch production.

A length of the Evenibg Evergreen Windowpane Check Ribbon, also from the Mini Catalogue sits across the top of the project. This has the sentiment, cut out using the Double Oval Punch raised above it.

Finally, some of the new Iridescent Rhinestones are added for a touch of sparkle.

Last Week’s Card & (Your) Cuppa – SAB Daffodil Afternoon DSP

My Card & (Your) Cuppa attendees asked for a daffodil project. As they also  liked this project and the DSP, last week’s Card & (Your) Cuppa project was a similar design.

The DSP is from the FREE Daffodil Afternoon SAB DSP, only available until the end of February, while stocks last.

As the sheet of DSP has a fabulous daffodil design on it, it can just be cut into pieces to create a great project.

Using colours from the DSP, a Very Vanilla basecard, with an Evening Evergreen layer provides a coordinating base.

A piece of In Color Ribbon and a length of Baker’s Twine sit around the bottom of the DSP.

Finally, a sentiment from the Wildflower Path Stamp Set is stamped onto Crushed Curry cardstock and raised up on Dimensionals.

Saying Thank You with SAB Daffodil Afternoon DSP

The fabulous SAB Daffodil Afternoon DSP was the perfect background for my recent customer thank you cards.

One of the sheets of the DSP cuts up perfectly into sections of daffodils that create a stunning card layer.

For my card I used the colours in the DSP. It’s actually Crushed Curry, not Daffodil Delight!, along with Pear Pizzazz and Evening Evergreen stamping.

As the DSP does all the hard work, all I needed to do was add a sentiment from the Wildflower Path Stamp Set. Wildflower Path is from the new January-June Mini Catalogue. This sits on a piece of Scalloped Lace Trim.

Wildflower Path Thinking of You

The new Wildflower Path Stamp Set from the January-June Mini Catalogue was perfect to create this recent project.

Sadly, I had to make a sympathy card.

However, the simplicity of this stamp set and using just a few colours really works.

Using Flirty Flamingo and Old Olive, the stems and flowers are stamped in a mix of first and second generation stamping.

This stamp set has a variety of images, including outer and inner flower pieces. For the outside of the flowers, these are second generation, with the inners first generation to make them slightly darker.

The sentiment is from the Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set and is stamped straight onto the project.

I love how versatile this Wildflower Path Stamp Set is and have lots of ideas for different projects to make with it.
