Last Week’s Card & Cuppa – Artisan Sketched Garden DSP

If you are a fan of fussy cutting, then last week’s Card & Cuppa project is right up your street!

This project uses the fabulous black and white Artisan Sketched Garden DSP. The DSP has some great designs that are perfect for colouring, along with some great patterned pieces too.

For this design, I used the stripes and dots patterns on the background.

I also chose to stick with the black and white theme with my card layers too.

Then, three different plants were cut out and coloured using a range of Stampin’ Blends. This is where the fussy cutting comes in!

These were then stuck to the background pieces, with the front pot raised up on Dimensionals.

Finally, a sentiment from the Banner Saying Stamp Set is stamped in the new Hybrid Ink and also attached using Dimensionals. See the latest Catalogue for details on this fab

Countdown to Christmas 2026 – Week 2

For week 2 of my Countdown to Christmas 2026 series, I’m sharing this very quick and simple Christmas Card.

It uses the Merriest Tags Stamp Set and Dies Bundle from the Online Exclusives range.

My main colour is Real Red, with Basic White.

The stocking image is stamped multiple times on the background using the Stamp Set. An extra stocking is also stamped onto a separate piece of Basic White cardstock. Each stocking is then coloured with a Real Red Stampin’ Blend.

This is a great design for batch making. To make multiples of this project at once, just stamp and colour a whole piece of cardstock and cut it when you have finished. You can make 4 backgrounds out of one piece of A4.

Using the Dies from the Bundle, the tag and separate stocking are both cut out.

These are layered together and a length of coordinating twine from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack is looped through the hole.

Finally, the tag is raised up on the background using Dimensionals.

Countdown to Christmas 2026 – Week 1

It’s already that time of year where I start my annual Countdown to Christmas series.

Countdown to Christmas 2026 is a 12 week countdown between now and Christmas. Every Saturday I’ll share a project designed to provide you with ideas and inspiration for your festive crafting.

For my first project of 2026, I couldn’t help but be drawn to the Advent Labels Stamp Set and Punch Bundle from the new Catalogue. Especially the ‘Countdown to’ stamp, it seemed very appropriate for this Christmas card!

Using traditional Christmas red and green, my colour combination is Peaceful Pine, Real Red and Darling Duckling, with Basic White.

The background piece is stamped tone on tone with the wreath images and a strip of cardstock is added across the centre.

Then, the three shapes are cut out using the coordinating punch. Two are stamped with the fairy lights, and the other with ‘Countdown to Christmas’. Wink of Stella is added to the fairy lights to give them a touch of sparkle.

The two fairy light shapes were stuck straight to the project, with the centre shape raised up on Dimensionals.

September 2026 Card Making Class – Project 4

The final project from my recent monthly Card Making Class is this fun Birthday Card.

With the theme of the class being Mostly Men, the cards had a more masculine feel to them. However, I think this one is more of a neutral card that anyone would be happy to receive.

You may recognise this design as a regular one from my classes. There is no point in reinventing the wheel. Just switch things up using different images, colours etc.

My colour combination for this project is the In Colors of Hydrangea Hue and Secret Sea, with Basic White.

It used the new Round About Messages Stamp Set and some new Ribbon too. Both are from the new September-December Catalogue.

Living in Milton Keynes, the name of this new Stamp Set caught my eye, and it just had to fall into my basket!

To begin, a piece of cardstock is used to mask the top section while an image is stamped multiple times underneath.

The large sentiment is stamped in the top corner.

A length of the new White Textured Ribbon is coloured using a Stampin’ Blend to match the rest of the project and sits across the masking line.

Using Secret Sea, the cake and surrounding words are stamped and that and a layer are cut out using Circle Punches.

The cake is coloured using Watercolor Pencils.

Finally, the sentiment is stuck to the project using Dimensionals.
