At last week’s Card & Cuppa I reached for the Washi Tape. I’d had this project designed and prepared for a while ready for my return from holiday.
I saw something similar on Pinterest a long time ago and stupidly didn’t save it. So, this is my version.
We began by drawing a couple of marks on the cardstock to help line everything up. Before adding the Washi, we used Touches of Texture to stamp a background.
The attendees had a choice of Washi Tape packs and picked two medium and one narrow width. I chose Smoky Slate for the accents on this project as it co-ordinates with all of the packs.
‘For You’ from the Jar of Love Stamp Set added a simple sentiment.
Finally, we made a ‘button’ using a punched circle of card and Baker’s Twine and attached with a Dimensional.
This is a really simple project that can be recreated in many different colours, with the sentiment changing accordingly.
Which Washi Tape pack would you choose?
Happy crafting
