Last week’s Card & (Your) Cuppa project had an underwater feel.

The Sea Dies from the January-June Mini Catalogue provided all the shapes for this fishy scene.

Using Pool Party as the main colour, I chose So Saffron, Calypso Coral, Pear Pizzazz and Pale Papaya as my accent colours.

The background behind the cut out was made from a piece of the fabulous FREE Simply Marbelous 6×6 SAB DSP. It creates a fabulous sea effect.

With the pieces all prepared, it was time to layer them. Some are stuck to the DSP, and some to the back of the main cut-out.

This cut-out is then stuck over the DSP using Dimensionals to give extra depth (boom boom!).

As I wanted the octopus to look like it was hiding between the weeds, he was stuck down last using Dimensionals.

Finally, a few Polished Dots are added to look like bubbles.

I chose to leave this project sentiment free as it is quite busy. If I was to add one, it would probably be in the bottom right and look like the octopus was holding it.
