Card Making Class – September
Final Details
Here are the final details for the following class:
Card Making Class
Theme: Mostly Men
Saturday 12th September 2026
09:30-12:00
The Old Bath House, Wolverton
Below are all the details you need, including location, timings, parking, entry to the building etc.
General
There will be 8 of us in the room.
We are in the same room as previously (Ground Floor Meeting Room)
Please note where to enter the building.
Timings
The Class is 09:30-12:00.
Note the earlier start and end times for 2026 classes.
My booking is from 09:00-12:30 (please see Assistance with setting up/clearing up section below).
How to find us
The Old Bath House is located at the following address:
205 Stratford Rd
Wolverton
Milton Keynes
MK12 5RL
It is next to Tesco.
Parking
If you are able to car share, please do so. It is a Saturday morning.
The Old Bath House has 28 FREE unlimited parking spaces along the end of the building near Lidl (the opposite end of the building to Tesco). However, these are not patrolled, so may be taken up by eager early Saturday morning shoppers!
Alternatively, you can use the Tesco car park. Please be aware Tesco has a 3 hour parking limit on their signs.
Entering the Building
Please use the open dark red doors – marked LOADING BAY, at the back of the Old Bath House (nearest the Old Bath House parking. NOT THE TESCO ENTRANCE). The entrance will be marked for the Repair Café (the main booking in the venue at the same time as us) and I have arranged with them for us to enter through this door.
This entrance takes you into the main hall. Once inside, head right towards the corridor and then turn right to get to our room (Ground Floor Meeting Room) at the far end of the corridor.
Using this entrance means we don’t need someone to sit on the main entrance to let everyone in and should hopefully be less distance to walk from the car park.
I have also arranged with the Repair Café for us to exit the building that way after class too.
If you get a little lost when you reach the loading bay, one of the Repair Cafe people (normally the lead – Phil) will take you under her wing and show you how to reach us!
What is provided
– Everything you need to complete your projects during the class (card stock, envelopes, adhesives, stamps, inks, punches, dies etc)
– Light refreshments* – a hot drink (tea/coffee/decaf coffee). Tea and coffee will be a ‘make it yourself’ arrangement. I’ll bring some shop bought sweet treats and Gluten Free cookies.
– As much or as little tuition as you require.
What to bring
– Yourself!
– Any special food/snack items you require (speciality milk etc)
See ‘light refreshments’ above.
– A water bottle (if you need one)
– Layers, or a personal handheld/neck fan (optional – see below)
Depending on whether you are a very hot or very cold person.
The broken window is still screwed shut. The Council did this, and it is up to them to fix the window, which they haven’t done yet.
There is the other window in the room that opens up onto the street, but I’d rather not open that as there will be interruptions from street noise and exhaust fumes etc from the buses that stop outside.
What to expect
You’ll be making 4 cards (each a different design) from the instruction given during the class.
The projects will be set out on different tables so you will move around the room creating each card. Please note there may be a small wait for some projects.
The class will have an informal atmosphere, but you will need to ensure you complete all of your stamping/punching/colouring etc during the class.
Any assembly not done at the time can be undertaken afterwards as ‘homework’.
Don’t forget to post your projects in the relevant ‘Show off Sunday’ post on my HIPPOFROG Designs Facebook page.
Assistance with setting up/clearing up
I will be at the venue from 09:00 to set everything up in time for the class.
At the end of the class, I’ll also require some volunteers to assist with clearing up – putting tables/chairs away, washing up mugs, packing up my items, tidying the room etc. If you are able to help with this it will be very much appreciated, especially with the tables as they require two people to collapse and I can’t do it on my own.
Glue Store
If there are any glue items you would like, please message me by 17:00 on Friday and I’ll see if I have what you require for me to bring on Saturday.

I think this is everything I need to advise you of. If I think of anything else, I’ll drop you a WhatsApp message with the details.
Please make sure you have me saved as a contact in your phone so my messages get through.
To keep everyone’s details private, I send Broadcast messages for each class, rather than regular Group messages – however, WhatsApp only delivers Broadcast messages to those who have me saved as a contact.
Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
I look forward to seeing you on Saturday morning.
Happy crafting!
