At the weekend, I held my monthly Card Making Class.

September’s theme was ‘Mostly Men’, where the projects had a more masculine feel to them.
The first project of the four made during the class is this stripes project. If you’ve been with me for a while, you will recognise this as a regular design I create. I have made many of them over the years.
For this project, I used the Wood Grain Wonders DSP from the Online Exclusives range.
I also chose Early Espresso and Basic Beige for my layers to coordinate with the colours in the DSP.

First, a sentiment from the new Framed & Fabulous Stamp Set from the Hot Foil range is stamped in the bottom corner.
Hot Foil Stamp Sets are found at the Hot Foil range in my online store. Don’t forget to check out that section as they are still to use in your ‘regular’ projects.
Then, each stripe was arranged and stuck down in the pattern, with the overhang cut away.
Finally, three Antique Pearls are added.
I love the simplicity of these striped projects, plus, they are a great way to use up your DSP or scraps.
