Today’s project uses the Many Layered Blossoms Dies and the coordinating Blossoms in Bloom Stamp Set.

The five colours are all from the Brights Collection to make the rainbow effect. They are Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody, Poppy Parade, Melon Mambo and Gorgeous Grape.

Once the background had been made using the Blending Brushes, the die cut shape was attached using Adhesive Sheets.

A length of the Essentials Baker’s Twine was then coloured using a Stampin’ Blend marker and this made a bow.

Finally, the sentiment from the Stamp Set was cut out using the Tasteful Labels Dies and raised up on Mini Dimensionals.

Blossoms in Bloom Bundle in Blues for Mum

Today I’m sharing another card for another November Birthday.

This time, it’s this fabulous Blossoms in Blooms Bundle in blues I made for my Mum.

I don’t use this fabulous bundle enough! This project uses the Many Layered Blossoms Dies from the Bundle, with the sentiment from the Stamp Set.

With a colour combination of Coastal Cabana, Night of Navy and Whisper White, I cut the inner group of flowers in the darker shade.

Next, I stuck a piece of Coastal Cabana onto a piece of Adhesive Sheet and cut the outline piece.

This makes it so much easier to attach to the inner piece.

If you’re going to use Wink of Stella in the centre of your flowers, I would recommend doing this before you stick the pieces together.

With the pieces stuck together, I then stuck the whole piece onto the Whisper White layer.

As you can see, it overlaps the edges slightly, but I like this look for this die.

I then stamped the sentiment and layered that onto a piece of each colour.

A small flower, again cut from the dies is then attached.

In the centre of the flower is a Playing with Patterns Resin Dot coloured with a Night of Navy Stampin’ Blend Marker.

Finally, some more of the dots, this time in Coastal Cabana are placed around the flower.

I love how this die creates a ‘wow’ factor as it is so large.

Last Week’s Card & (Your) Cuppa – Creating the Garden

For last week’s Card & (Your) Cuppa project, I chose creating the garden for the theme.

This project uses a number of new die sets from the Annual Catalogue.

A Soft Sea Foam base card and layer are a great background for the other colours. Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather, plus two In Colors.

The large cut out from Many Medallions Dies in Cinnamon Cider creates a pretty trellis. You’ll definitely need your Die Brush attachment to pop out all those little pieces. You can cut the ‘trellis’ down to whatever size you like. Mine is 6 by 4 squares.

The plant is of course from the fabulous Forever Flourishing Dies. This is in Just Jade.

Do you ever look at a punch or die and immediately have a project in mind? I did just that with the Tasteful Labels Dies. The shape looks like a plant pot, so this project was the result.

I can’t believe I haven’t used the Hippo & Friends Dies before now. I am HIPPOFROG Designs after all! These dies give us the lovely decoration on the pot, stuck on with Adhesive Sheets to make it easier to stick down. Hippo & Friends Dies also give us the flowers, plus it is great there are three in the set, so this cuts down cutting out time.
