Saying Goodbye – In Color 2015-2017

As we make way for new products in the new catalogue, we also have to say goodbye to one set of In Colors too.  This time it’s the In Color 2015-2017 collection.

Here is a project from my recent Spring Card Crafting Extravaganza class that uses Mint Macaron.  Other colours in this collection are Cucumber Crush, Delightful Dijon, Tip-Top Taupe and Watermelon Wonder.

Baby Bear from Stampin' Up!

Although some of the items are retiring/no longer available/being reconfigured, the colours and sentiments can easily be changed to suit the occasion.  Baby Bear is a great set and the cute bow can be any colour you like.

If you haven’t headed over to the Retiring List yet then make sure you do.  You need to grab those items without delay.

Last week’s Card & Cuppa – Owl Builder Punch

At last week’s Card & Cuppa session I decided to bring out the Owl Punch as we hadn’t used it before – apart from upside down to make an alien card!

I was asked by one of my attendees to create a new baby card.  So, I chose this project which could have the greeting changed for a generic card for a Birthday if needed.

Card & Cuppa - Stampin' Up! Owl Punch

The background was created by inking up the Woodgrain Embossing Folder with a Stampin’ Pad.  We then sandwiched the cardstock between the folder and used a large clear block to press all over the folder.

To make the owl, I cut strips of cardstock in various colours to punch out the piece I needed instead of the whole owl. I love the cute waiscoat punched from a tiny piece of Designer Series Paper.

Here is the version for Birthdays too.

Which is your favourite?

Don’t forget that the Flash Sale ends today.

There aren’t any Card & Cuppa sessions this week, but if you’d like to join us for any of the remaining sessions this year in December then remember to book your place by 18:00 the day before.

Happy crafting
