Introduction to In Color Class – Soft Succulent

Today I’m back to sharing last week’s Introduction to In Color Class projects.

We have now reached Soft Succulent, the 4th project from the class.

I love this colour with Mint Macaron and Rich Razzleberry. Very Vanilla accents and Basic Gray stamping complete the mix.

This is a version of a previous project I have made. However, as the class was online without access to shared stamps, the kit contained die-cut and embossed shapes instead.

First, the background is given a texture using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.

Next, shapes are cut using the Elegant Tag Punch, Symmetrical Stems Border Punch and the Painted Labels Dies.

A bow from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack in Very Vanilla is wrapped around the tag.

A sentiment from the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set is stamped onto pieces shaped with the Treasured Tag Pick a Punch.

All of the pieces are layered together, along with a length of coordinating ribbon.

Finally, coordinating In Color Jewels are scattered across the project.

Saying Hello – Elegantly Said Bundle

Today I’m sharing a Birthday card that uses a good handful of new products from the new Annual Catalogue.

Elegantly Said Bundle. Project designed by Karen at HIPPOFROG DesignsThis is a card for a friend who is a big Stampin’ Up! fan. Due to where their Birthday falls, each year I use new products from my Demonstrator pre-order on their card. I then challenge them to spot all of the new items!

For this project I’ve taken inspiration from page 147 of the new Annual Catalogue.

The card uses 8 brand new products. Can you find them all before I share the list?

Our first two items are the Elegantly Said Stamp Set and Elegant Tag Punch from the Elegantly Said Bundle.

Next, stamping tone-on tone in new In Color Pale Papaya using an image from the Stamp Set gives us items 3 and 4.

Gold leaves from the Sprig Punch and the new Flowers & Leaves Punch, new item 5, are set behind the Crumb Cake tag shape.

A sentiment in Old Olive from the Vine Design Stamp Set is given a shape on one end using the Treasured Tags Pick a Punch. Both of these items are from the January-June Mini Catalogue.

On the other side is a short loop of Pale Papaya & White Ribbon for new product 6.

Making a bow using the Simply Elegant Trim in Gold provides a bit of sparkle. Some bling using the new Genial Gems in Pale Papaya then adds a finishing touch. These are the final new items 7 and 8 on the project.

Butterfly Brilliance Customer Thank You Cards

For my latest batch of customer thank you cards, I just had to use items from the new Butterfly Brilliance Collection.

This collection is an early release Bundle from the upcoming Annual Catalogue. There are TWO paper packs too that are available for a limited time (while stocks last).

All of the items are available individually, with a discount for the full collection (while stocks last).

I cut a strip of the 6×6 Butterfly Bijou DSP Stack as a background piece for my Pool Party basecard.

Next, I used the Brilliant Wings Dies to cut out both a solid and detailed butterfly shape. One in Mango Melody and the other in So Saffron.

After sticking these together, the butterfly was then stuck onto the DSP.

I then added a sentiment from the Blossoms in Bloom Stamp Set in Basic Gray Ink. This is cut out using the Treasured Tags Pick a Punch to make a rounded edge. If you were a fan of the Word Window Punch, then this punch is a good substitute.

The sentiment is attached across the wings using Mini Dimensionals.

Finally, Artistry Blooms Sequins in co-ordinating Mango Melody add a touch of sparkle.

Oh So Ombre DSP Butterflies

With the first SAB of the year just around the corner, I couldn’t resist making a project with the Oh So Ombre DSP. One of the FREE items you can earn from 5th January.

This card, with a heartfelt and poignant message for these times we find ourselves in, uses the patterned side of the DSP from the pack.

I used another piece of the DSP on this project I shared the other day.

As you know, I love a project with a monochrome feel, so using Rococo Rose cardstock for my basecard and a Whisper White layer, with Tuxedo Black stamping was all I needed.

The butterflies, from the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set were stamped onto another sheet of the DSP, this time, the non-patterned piece. I made sure to chose various parts of the DSP to give me different shades of the colour.

These were punched out using the Butterfly Duet Punch and had parts coloured using Wink of Stella.

A sentiment from the Bunch of Blossoms Stamp Set, with the end shaped from another new product arriving soon in the January-June Mini Catalogue.

Glue Dots are used to attach the smaller butterflies, with the large one stuck using a Dimensionals.
