Eclectic Touches of Texture

Last week I showed you a Birthday card for a regular Card & Cuppa attendee.

I took the inspiration for that project from this Birthday card I made for my Sister-in-Law.

As you can see, this one uses different colours and is more of a vintage look than the crisp monochrome look of the other project.

I’ve used sponge daubers to colour the doily and various Mint Macaron ribbons instead of Washi Tape. There is also a ‘real’ button instead of a handmade one.

However, the design of the cards is exactly the same and use the same stamp sets. Isn’t it great how you can change a design so dramtically with just a few tweaks?

Here you can see the ribbons and the distressed look on the doily.
