I don’t have a Card & Cuppa project from last week to show you as there wasn’t a class. Instead, I’m sharing this Soft Sea Foam Birthday Card I made for one of my regular Card & Cuppa attendees.
When Soft Sea Foam appeared as one of the new colours, this lady fell in love with it, so I had to use it on their card.
This is another diagonal design card, similar to this project and this project I’ve shown you recently.
The bottom of the piece is scored at 1cm intervals using the Simply Scored Tool and Metric Plate to give a textured effect.
Using Call Me Clover as an accent colour, I’ve take the flower from Love What you Do and coloured it with Soft Sea Foam using Blender Pens.
A strip of Ribbon and layer in Call Me Clover and sentiment from Happy Birthday Gorgeous add more co-ordinating accents.
Finally, the flowers have Wink of Stella brushed on them for some added sparkle.
As this card was delivered by hand, the layers were put together with Dimensionals. I’d normally use SNAIL to create flatter layers for those requiring posting.
Check out my Class Timetable for all of the classes I offer.
Happy crafting
