When I saw the project on Page 12 in the Annual Catalogue, I knew I had to make my own version.
The new Seascape Bundle (Seascape Stamp Set and Sea Life Dies) ‘accidentally’ fell into my shopping basket, so it could finally happen!
I have already shared my love of the Layering Diorama Dies, so it’s great that they work together with this Bundle so well.
For my version of the project, I made a few changes, but the layout is similar, as that it what caught my eye.
My colour combination is Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana and Pool Party for the water layers. The seaweed is Garden Green and Calypso Coral and the fish are Real Red and Mango Melody.
The basecard is also the bottom layer for the depths. This is where I stamped the seaweed and some bubbles.
Between this and the centre layer, some seaweed pokes through.
For the top layer, some stamped fish are added. This top layer is attached with Dimensionals to give extra depth to the different layers.
If you wanted to give even more depth, you could pop Dimensionals between each layer. However, this would probably move the postage level up to a Large Letter.
Finally, the Real Red fish, stamped and fussy cut, plus the die cut Mango Melody fish are added.
I can’t wait to use this Bundle a bit more, as there are some really fun images and dies.
I think something similar to this design may become a Card & (Your) Cuppa project in the near future.
