Last Week’s Card & Cuppa – Lovely Wishes

I’m a fan of the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The brand new Lovely Wishes Stamp Set in the Spring/Summer Catalogue reminds me of his work.

So, last week’s Card & Cuppa project was my nod to his designs.

Stampin' Up! Lovely Wishes with Karen Young at HIPPOFROG Designs

It’s a project with precise image placement, not like me at all! The first trick is to mark where the centre circle goes to help line up the leaves stamped in Basic Gray.

Once they are in place, it’s just a matter of using the infill stamps to colour the leaves and flowers.

The fabulous sentiment sits on a matching layer before and a strip of gorgeous Whisper White Organza Ribbon.

A final touch is a couple of small flowers using the Tree Builder Punch which are adorned with Pearls.

If you’d like to join us at Card & Cuppa, make sure you book your place by 18:00 the day before.

Happy crafting
